Use of Barrett Culture Values Assessment, Merger Advisory, Strategy Implementation Development using System7™, and Change Implementation on behalf of Group structure during sale of a trading division to a foreign private equity investment fund.

Project Brief

Our challenge was to move a large employee group towards accepting the acquisition of their company by a competitor brand, and to do so in such a way that the deal remained out of the media (this could have impacted on the commercial negotiations happening simultaneous with the consulting engagement).

Strategic Approach

Application of Barrett Culture Values Assessment for to build accurate diagnostic picture. Built bespoke workshop solutions to allow employees to discuss their thoughts and feelings on the acquisition, as well as their concerns about tangible issues like employee benefits. CCG Advisory provided M&A consulting work from a culture integration perspective, facilitated through the end to end application of System7™.

Business Impact

This was a difficult engagement given the complexity of the matter, as well as the sensitivity of the acquisition from a financial reporting point of view. Regardless, we were successful in the brief and the assignment was completed on time and in scope.
